A Milestone for Cartoneros y sus Chicos!
In March, our recently expanded school building received a special addition: our logo now proudly adorns the facade. It stands as a visible symbol of our identity and commitment to education and growth.
Each element of our logo tells a story and holds a deeper meaning:
🌳 The Tree – Representing growth, stability, positive development, and resilience—everything we strive to provide for the children of the Cartoneros.
📦 The Cardboard Boxes – Symbolizing the reality of the Cartoneros, for whom collected cardboard is often the only source of income. At the same time, they serve as the “roots” of our foundation—our educational project was born from this very reality.
🐦 The Hornero – Argentina’s national bird, embodying the dream of freedom and independence. A powerful metaphor for the hope we give children: a future filled with opportunities beyond poverty.
