Seeing enables learning—and thanks to a generous individual donor, we made that possible! In collaboration with Fundación Nano and their Ver para Aprender (See to Learn) program, we conducted vision screenings for 275 children and teenagers to detect early signs of vision impairment.
The results were eye-opening: 120 children required further ophthalmological examinations, and 51 children—20%!—were found to need glasses to see clearly, focus, and effectively learn to read and write.
The best news? In June, every child who needed glasses received them! Now, they not only have a clear view of the world but also a real chance for a better academic future.
